குடும்பக்கட்டுப்பாடை இஸ்லாம் எதிர்க்கிறது

மக்கள் தொகைப் பெருக்கத்தின் காரணமாக இந்தியாவில் வறுமை தலைவிரித்தாடுகிறது. இந்த நிலையில் குடும்பக் கட்டுப்பாட்டை இஸ்லாம் எதிர்க்கிறது. முஸ்லிமல்லாதவர்கள் குடும்பக்கட்டுப்பாட்டைக் கடைபிடித்து வரும் போது முஸ்லிம்கள் மட்டும் மக்கள் தொகையைப் பெருக்கி பெரும்பான்மையாகி வருகின்றனர். நாட்டின் பொருளாதார வளர்ச்சிக்குத் தடையாக இருந்து வருகின்றனர்.

இந்தியாவில் உள்ள முஸ்லிம் அல்லாதவர்கள் முஸ்லிம்கள் மீதும் இஸ்லாத்தின் மீதும் கூறும் குற்றச்சாட்டுகளில் இதுவும் ஒன்றாகும்.

இந்தக் குற்றச்சாட்டைப் பல வழிகளில் அலசிப்பார்க்க வேண்டும்.

மக்கள் தொகைப் பெருக்கத்தால் உணவு மற்றும் இடப் பற்றாக்குறையும் வறுமையும் ஏற்படும் என்ற வாதம் சரியானதா என்பதை முதலில் பார்ப்போம்.

வறுமையும் உணவுப் பற்றாக்குறையும் மக்கள் தொகை மிகவும் குறைவாக இருந்த கால கட்டங்களிலும் உலகெங்கும் இருந்துள்ளன. இன்று உலகில் வாழும் மக்கள் தொகையை 500 கோடியிலிருந்து வெறும் ஐந்து கோடியாகக் குறைத்தாலும் வயிற்றுக்கு உணவு கிடைக்காதவர்கள் இருக்கத்தான் செய்வார்கள். இதுதான் எதார்த்த நிலையாகும்.

மக்கள் தொகை குறைவாகவே இருந்த காலத்திலும் மக்கள் தொகை மிகுதியாக உள்ள காலத்திலும் மக்கள் அனைவரின் தேவைகளுக்கும் அதிகமாகவே உணவுப் பொருள்கள் உற்பத்தி செய்யப்படுகின்றன. இன்று 500 கோடி மக்கள் வாழ்கிறார்கள் என்றால் 1000 கோடி மக்களுக்குப் போதுமான உணவுகள் உலகில் உள்ளன. உணவுப் பொருள்கள் சிலருக்குக் கிடைக்காமல் போவதற்குக் காரணம் விநியோக முறையில் ஏற்படும் தவறுகளும், பலருக்குப் போதுமான உணவுகள் ஒரு சிலரிடம் குவிந்து கிடப்பதும் தான். ஏழை நாடுகள் உணவுக்காக அலை மோதும் போது பணக்கார நாடுகள் உணவுப் பொருள்களைக் கடலில் கொட்டுவதை நாம் பார்க்கிறோம்.

ஏழை நாடுகளில் வாழும் பரம ஏழைகள் ஒரு கவள உணவுக்கு ஏங்கும் போது பணத்திமிர் பிடித்த ஏழை நாட்டுச் செல்வந்தர்கள் உணவையும், பொருளாதாரத்தையும் விரயம் செய்து வருகின்றனர். இதுதான் சிலருக்கு உணவுகள் கிடைக்காமல் போவதற்கு உண்மைக் காரணம்.

இந்தியாவில் 100 கோடி மக்கள் வாழ்கிறார்கள். இவர்களில் 5 கோடி மக்களிடம் 200 கோடி மக்களுக்குத் தேவையான செல்வங்கள் குவிந்து கிடக்கின்றன. இந்திய மக்கள் தொகையை 100 கோடியிலிருந்து 10 கோடியாகக் குறைத்தால் வறுமையும், பசியும் நீங்கிவிடப் போவதில்லை. அப்போதும் அதில் ஒரு கோடிப் பேர் பட்டிணி கிடக்கும் நிலை தான் ஏற்படும்.

5 லட்சம் பேரிடம் 20 கோடி மக்களுக்கான உணவுகள் குவிந்திருக்கும் நிலை தான் ஏற்படும். அப்போதும் பற்றாக்குறையும் பசியும் ஒரு பக்கத்தில் இருக்கத் தான் செய்யும்.

உலக மக்கள் தொகையை வெறும் நூறு நபர்களாகக் குறைத்தால் கூட பத்துப் பேருக்கு உணவு கிடைக்காது என்பது தான் எதார்த்தமான நிலை. எனவே உணவுப் பற்றாக்குறை என்ற காரணத்தைக் கூறி குடும்பக்கட்டுப்பாட்டை நியாயப்படுத்த முடியாது.

உலகில் உள்ள நிலப்பரப்புகளில் ஐந்து சதவிகிதம் இடம் கூட மனிதர்களால் பயன்படுத்தப்படவில்லை. 95 சதவிகிதத்திற்கும் அதிகமான இடங்கள் உபரியாகத் தான் உள்ளன. ஏனைய பொருட்களின் பற்றாக் குறையும் இத்தகையது தான்.

ஆகவே மக்கள் தொகை குறைவதால் பசியும் வறுமையும் பறந்தோடி விடும் என்பது மோசடியான வாதமாகும்.

இன்னும் சொல்லப் போனால் மக்கள் தொகை பெருகுவதால் உலகத்துக்கு ஏராளமான நன்மைகள் கிடைத்தன, இனியும் கிடைக்கும் என்பதே உண்மையாகும்.

மனிதனுக்கு நெருக்கடியும் நிர்பந்தமும் ஏற்படும் போது தான் அவன் அறிவைப் பயன்படுத்தி தீர்வு காண முயல்கிறான். எத்தகைய பிரச்சனைகளையும் சமாளிக்கும் திறனுடன் தான் மனிதன் படைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளான்.

மக்கள் தொகை குறைவாக இருந்த போது நெல்லை விதைத்து ஆறுமாதம் கழித்து மனிதன் அறுவடை செய்தான். மக்கள் தொகை பெருகும் போது மூன்று மாதங்களில் அறுவடை செய்யக் கூடிய அதிக விளைச்சலைத் தரக்கூடிய வீரிய ரக நெல்லைக் கண்டு பிடித்தான். இன்னும் மக்கள் தொகை பெருகும் போது காலையில் விதைத்து விட்டு மாலையில் அறுவடை செய்யக் கூடிய நெல்லை மனிதன் நிச்சயம் கண்டுபிடிக்கத் தான் போகிறான். அப்போது தாறுமாறாக உணவுகள் குவியக் கூடிய அற்புதத்தை உலகம் காணத் தான் போகிறது.

மக்கள் தொகை குறைவாக இருந்த காலத்தில் மழை நீர், கிணற்று நீர், ஆற்று நீர் ஆகியவற்றை மட்டும் பருகி வந்த மனிதன் இன்று ஆழ்கிணறுகளைத் தோண்டுகிறான். செயற்கை மழை பெய்ய வைக்கிறான். கடல் நீரைக் குடிநீராக்குகிறான். கழிவு நீரையும் குடிப்பதற்கு ஏற்றதாக மாற்றுகிறான். இது மக்கள் தொகைப் பெருக்கத்தினால் மனிதனுக்குக் கிடைத்த நன்மை.

ஒரு கோழிக்குஞ்சு கோழியாக வளர்வதற்கு ஆறு மாதங்கள் காத்திருக்க வேண்டும். மக்கள் தொகை குறைவாக உள்ள போது இது தான் நிலமை. மக்கள் தொகை பெருகிய பின் மிக விரைவாகவும் அதிக எடையுடனும் வளரக் கூடிய கோழி இனங்களைக் கண்டு பிடித்து விட்டான். சேவல் இல்லாமல் தினந்தோறும் முட்டை இடும் கோழி இனத்தையும் மனிதன் கண்டு பிடித்துள்ளான்.

ஒரு படி பால் கறப்பதற்கே தாளம் போட்ட நிலை மாறி 100 லிட்டர் வரை பால் கறக்கும் பசுக்களையும் மனிதன் கண்டுபிடித்து விட்டான். ஆடுகள், மாடுகள், தாவரங்கள், மீன்கள் மற்றும் அனைத்திலும் அசுர வளர்ச்சியை மனிதன் ஏற்படுத்தி விட்டான். இதற்கெல்லாம் காரணம் மக்கள் தொகைப் பெருக்கமே.

அது மட்டுமின்றி காய்கள், பழங்கள் மட்டுமின்றி ஆடு, மாடு போன்றவற்றைகளையும் பல மடங்கு பெரிய அளவில் உருவாக்குவதில் மனிதன் வெற்றி கண்டு விட்டான். ஐந்து கோழிகள் தேவைப்படக்கூடிய குடும்பத்திற்கு ஒரு கோழியே போதுமானது என்ற நிலை விரைவில் ஏற்படவுள்ளது. கோழியை ஒரு ஆட்டின் அளவுக்குப் பெரிதாக உற்பத்தி செய்வதை மனிதன் கண்டுபிடித்து விட்டான். மனித குலம் பல்கிப் பெருகியது தான் இந்தக் கண்டு பிடிப்புக்குக் காரணம்.

குடிசை வீடுகள் மாடி வீடுகளாக மாறியதும், அகல் விளக்குகள் மின் விளக்குகளாக மாறியதும், மாட்டுவண்டிகள் பேருந்துகளாக விமானங்களாக மாறியதும், எல்லாத் தயாரிப்புகளும் இயந்திர மயமானதும் மக்கள் தொகைப் பெருக்கத்தினாலேயே.

சந்திரன், செவ்வாய் கிரகங்கள் பற்றி மனிதன் ஆராய்ச்சி செய்வதற்கும் மக்கள் தொகைப் பெருக்கம் தான் காரணமாக இருக்கிறது.

சாதாரண நடைமுறை உண்மையையே இதற்குச் சான்றாகக் கூறலாம். நம்முடைய பாட்டன்மார் காலத்தில் ஒரு தேவைக்காக நூறு முட்டைகள் வாங்க முயன்றால் கடைத் தெருவில் அவ்வளவு இருப்பு இருக்காது.. இன்றைக்கு இலட்சம் முட்டைகள் வேண்டுமானாலும் வாங்கலாம். இருப்பு உள்ளது. வாங்குவதற்கு பலரிடம் பணம் தான் இருப்பதில்லை. உணவுப் பொருளுக்கு எந்தப் பற்றாக்குறையும் மக்கள் தொகைப் பெருக்கத்தினால் ஏற்படவில்லை. விநியோக முறையில் உள்ள தவறுகளால் தான் சிலருக்குக் கிடைப்பதில்லை என்பதை இதிலிருந்து அறியலாம்.

இன்னொரு கோணத்திலும் நாம் சிந்தித்துப் பார்க்க வேண்டும்.

மனிதனை இறைவன் படைக்கும் போது வெறும் வயிறை மட்டும் கொடுத்து அனுப்பவில்லை. மூளையையும் கொடுத்தே அனுப்புகிறான்.

பிறக்கவிருந்த 1000 சிசுக்களைக் குடும்பக்கட்டுப்பாடு என்ற பெயரில் அழித்து விடுவதாக வைத்துக் கொள்வோம். அந்த ஆயிரத்தில் ஒருவன் ஐம்பதாயிரம் மக்களின் வறுமையைப் போக்கும் ஆற்றலுடையவனாக இருப்பான். பெரிய விஞ்ஞானி, மிகச் சிறந்த தலைவனாவதற்கான தகுதி பெற்றவன், அவர்களில் இருக்கக் கூடும். குடும்பக் கட்டுப்பாடு என்ற பெயரில் அத்தகையோர் உருவாகாமல் தடுப்பது மனித குலத்திற்குக் கேடு விளைவிக்குமே தவிர நன்மை பயக்காது என்பதையும் நாம் சிந்தித்துப் பார்க்க வேண்டும்.

தனிப்பட்ட நபர்கள் தமது சுய விருப்பத்தின் படி தமது குடும்பத்தைக் கட்டுப்படுத்திக் கொள்ள விரும்பினால் அதைச் சில நிபந்தனைகளுடன் இஸ்லாம் அனுமதிக்கின்றது. எல்லோரும் குடும்பக் கட்டுப்பாடு செய்ய வேண்டும் என்று அரசாங்கம் கட்டாயப்படுத்தவோ பிரச்சாரம் செய்யவோ உரிமை இல்லை என்பது தான் இஸ்லாத்தின் நிலைப்பாடாகும்.

காண்டம் (ஆணுறை) போன்றவற்றைப் பயன்படுத்தி கர்ப்பம் அடைவதைத் தவிர்த்துக் கொள்ளலாம். பெண்களுக்கு எதிர்காலத்தில் பின்விளைவுகளை ஏற்படுத்துகின்ற, கருத்தடை மாத்திரைகளைப் பயன்படுத்துவது, காப்பர் டி போன்ற சாதனங்களைப் பயன்படுத்துவது, ஆண்களுக்கு மோசமான பின் விளைவுகளை ஏற்படுத்துகின்ற வாசக்டமி போன்ற அறுவை சிகிச்சைகளைச் செய்வது, குழந்தை பெறுகின்ற தன்மையை ஆணோ பெண்ணோ அடியோடு நீக்கிக் கொள்வது போன்றவற்றை இஸ்லாம் கடுமையாக எதிர்க்கிறது.

தனது எதிர்காலத்தைப் பாழாக்கிக் கொள்வதும், கடவுள் கொடுத்த குழந்தை பெறும் தன்மையை அடியோடு நீக்கி விடுவதும் குற்றம் என இஸ்லாம் கூறுகிறது.

ஒரு தம்பதியினருக்கு இரண்டு குழந்தைகள் இருக்கின்றன என்பதால் அவர்கள் குழந்தை பெறும் தன்மையை நிரந்தரமாக நீக்கிக் கொள்கின்றனர் என்று வைத்துக் கொள்வோம். எதிர்பாராமல் இரண்டு குழந்தைகளும் மரணித்து விட்டால் அந்தத் தன்மையை யாரால் திருப்பித் தர இயலும்? இப்படி அறிவுப்பூர்வமாக இஸ்லாம் சிந்திக்கச் சொல்கிறது.

சுருங்கச் சொல்வதென்றால் தாயின் உடல் நலக்குறைவு, இயலாமை போன்ற காரணங்களுக்காக சுயக் கட்டுப்பாட்டுடன் குறைவான குழந்தைகளைப் பெற்றெடுத்தால் அல்லது குழந்தை பெறுவதை அறவே தவிர்த்துக் கொண்டால் அது அவர்களின் உரிமை. அதை இஸ்லாம் தடுக்கவில்லை.

இது நமக்கு மிகவும் பயனளிக்கும் திட்டம் என்று பிரச்சாரம் செய்தால் அதில் எள் முனையளவு கூட உண்மை இல்லை என்பதால் இஸ்லாம் அதை எதிர்க்கும்.

குடும்பக் கட்டுப்பாட்டை நிராகரித்து முஸ்லிம்கள் தங்கள் எண்ணிக்கையைப் பெருக்கிக் கொள்கிறார்கள் என்ற குற்றச்சாட்டும் தவறானதாகும்.

குடும்பக் கட்டுப்பாடு என்பது பயனற்ற திட்டம் என்று முஸ்லிம்களுக்கு மட்டும் இஸ்லாம் போதிக்கவில்லை. உலக மக்கள் அனைவருக்கும் போதிக்கின்றது. முஸ்லிமல்லாதவர்களும் இந்தப் போதனையை ஏற்றுக் கொண்டு தமது மக்கள் தொகையைப் பெருக்கிக் கொண்டால் இஸ்லாமோ முஸ்லிம்களோ இதற்குத் தடையாக இருக்கமாட்டார்கள். மாறாக வரவேற்பார்கள்.

முஸ்லிமல்லாதவர்கள் ஒரு தவறான பிரச்சாரத்தை நம்பி ஏமாந்தால் அதைப் போல் முஸ்லிம்களும் ஏமாற வேண்டும் என்று கூறுவது எந்த வகையிலும் நியாயமாகாது.

மாறாக முஸ்லிம்கள் எவ்வாறு இந்த விஷயத்தில் பொய்ப்பிரச்சாரத்தை மெய்யென நம்பி ஏமாறாமல் இருக்கிறார்களோ அதுபோல் மற்றவர்களும் ஏமாறாமல் இருக்க முயல்வது தான் அறிவுடைமையாகும்.

ஏதோ இந்தியாவில் பெரும்பான்மையாக ஆவதற்காக இந்திய முஸ்லிம்கள் செய்து கொண்ட முடிவல்ல இது.

மாறாக முற்றிலும் முஸ்லிம்களே வாழ்கின்ற நாடுகளிலும் இஸ்லாத்தின் நிலைபாடு இது தான் என்பதை உணர்ந்தால் இது போன்ற குற்றச்சாட்டை யாரும் சுமத்த மாட்டார்கள்.

Due to excessive population India suffers from poverty. In this situation Islam opposes family planning. While the other religious people follow family planning, Muslim only opposes family planning and increases their population. It is an obstacle for the economic growth of India. This is one of the accusations charged by Non-Muslims on Muslims.

We have to analyze this accusation in many ways.

Scarcity not due to Population Growth

Let us scrutinize the accusation that “Is the population growth a cause for food scarcity, dwelling, and poverty”. Poverty and scarcity was prevalent in the past even when there was less population. If we reduce the population of world, from 50 Billion to 50 Million then also there will be people starving for food.

Scarcity due to wrong distribution

Food production was made in excess while there was less population and also when the population growth raises excessively. Now there are 50 billion people are in the world, but we produce food items for 100 billion people. Some do not get now also. It is because food stuff is stagnant in some place only. Moreover, proper method to distribute it is not maintained, due to wrong distribution system. When poor countries are struggling to get food, rich countries throw the food stuff in the sea.

In the down trodden countries, while the poor is suffering to get a day’s meal, arrogant affluent countries waste the food stuff and their economy extravagantly. This is the real reason for the scarcity of food for the poor.

In India there are 1 Billion live. 50 Million have the wealth of 2 Billion people. If 1 Billion people were decreased to be 100 Million people, the poverty and scarcity will not be eradicated. Even then 10 Million people will be starving. .5 Million will have the food stuff of 200 Million people and then also there will be poverty and scarcity. Even if, the world population was 100 only, then also 10 persons will be starving.   Therefore, we cannot justify family planning is the solution to avoid scarcity and poverty.

Unused abundant Resources

In the world, not even 5% of the land is utilized for inhabitants by human race. We have 95% of land excess for our living. The other scarcities of things are also lie in the same ratio. So, the population reduction will eradicate poverty and hunger, is a false argument.

If the population increased, the world will gain more benefits. It happened in the past. It will happen in the future also.

Benefits of Population Growth

If the man faces problems and gets pressure, he uses his brain to solve it. Man is created to manage any kind of problem by his knowledge. When the population is less, he took six months for harvest. Now he has the crop for harvesting in three months.

The Growth of Science on par with Population increase

If the population increases steeply, he will find the crop to sow in the morning and reap it in the evening. Then the food stuff will heap in excess also. When the population was less he used rain water, well water and river water to drink. Now he drinks bore water and convert sea water into drinking water. These are all the benefits of man attained out population increase.

In the past, we waited 20 days to get a chicken from an egg and six month to get a chicken. Now if we have an egg, we can get a chicken in the evening. We have chicken to lay egg daily. In the past, the cow milked one liter. Now we have the cow for milking 100 liters. Thus we have giant production of cow, goat, fish, poultry and plants. The size of the genre also increases enormously.

The change of hut as a stair houses, mini lamp as electric tubes, carts as bus and plane. More the population from hand made to machine made is all the benefits of population growth.

The research of planets and travel to them are all due to population growth.

In our day to day example, we can say, two generation before we cannot buy a large quantity of food at a time in the market. But now we can buy any quantity if we have the fund. From this, we can understand the population growth does not create the scarcity. Some cannot get food due to the wrong distribution.

We have to think this problem in another angle also.

Man is created to find solutions

When the God create man he does not give him a mere stomach only but with solution providing brain also. If we dissuade 1000 children from birth, one among those may be a scientist capable of eradicating 50 thousand people’s poverty. Curtailing such a people from his birth will be the loss to mankind.

The Government is for the people

If somebody wants to plan the family with minimum members, Islam allows them with certain conditions. The Government does not have any right to force the people to get family planning. Family Planning is a euphemism for birth control. The stand of Islam is that the Government is for the people and not the contrary.

Permanent Birth control is a sin in Islam

Men can use condom to avoid conception. Using contraceptive bills that bring side effects, placing T-shaped plastic device that is wrapped in copper in the vagina and getting vasectomy operation  to prevent flow of the sperm in the semen and other permanently removing the possibility of conception will be opposed vehemently by Islam. Removing permanently the God given boon is destroying the futurity. Islam considers it as a sin.

The danger of Permanent Birth control

For example when a couple has two children, permanently remove their boon of delivering the child and if the children died by accept how can they generate another child again. Thus Islam orders to approach each and every problem wisely.

Due the ill health of the mother and inability, if the couple planned to be few members, Islam will not find fault with them. But if it is a beneficial planning as it is propagated then Islam will not oppose it. At the same time, Muslims, ignoring Family Planning, are increasing their population is an illogical argument.

Family Planning is useless

Islam does not preach that the Family Planning is useless to Muslims only but to the entire mankind. Even Non-Muslims accept the stand of Islam and increase their population; Islam will not lay any barrier on it.  As Non-Muslims become the victims on believing this wrong propaganda, Muslims also should be the prey for it, will not be a justifiable argument. On the contrary, as Muslims do not be the victims on believing this wrong propaganda, Non-Muslims also should not be the prey for it, is the wise action.

The neutral stand of Islam

It is not the plan of Muslims to become the majority in India. None can accuse it if they understand that even in the countries where Muslims only living, it is the stand of Islam.
